Ahh! Where or where did this pregnancy go? I realize I still have 7-8 weeks, but I'm all too aware of how quickly that time goes by! Some-days I feel totally prepared (or maybe just sick of being pregnant?) and others I start to internally freak out. How on earth am I going hand two babies, school work, and keeping the house not trashed? How will I find the time to give my attention to both babies?!

Somehow I know I will manage, and Doug and I will work together to make it work!

Oh well, for the next 7 weeks I will enjoy the calm before the storm :-)

Sorry everyone! Life is moving at ridiculously fast paces and sometimes I have a hard time keeping up.  Mother's day came and went, and it was amazing! I got my very first homemade mothers day gift!  Doug and Liam did an art project flower pot with Orchids in them. Isn't is precious!!

Pregnancy related things are going swimmingly. I have had zero blood pressure issues, like I had with Liam... and so far the little lady looks perfect.  I am at a 10 week countdown currently...which is kinda crazy!!!

2 babies under 2. AHHHH.

I am aiming to do a vbac with this baby! Keep your fingers crossed!!

Here is a recent youtube of Liam:

Well it's been a hectic few weeks. Time flies by when you have kids. Everyone always told me it would, but i never truly understood just how fast it does!

Project "Move all Ashlee's stuff to Florida so we stop paying storage unit fees" has officially concluded. What an emotional roller coaster it was!  To make a long story short, we have the stuff, but definitely plan to report them to the BBB and Doug has the ball rolling with the owner of the company and yelling at him. Who knows if we'll get any compensation.   After spending a LOT of money moving stuff, the movers get to our house and say the semi (which no one told us they were bringing a SEMI as they picked it up in a normal sized moving vehicle) can't make the incline of the apartment complex and we needed to rent a truck or use our van and HELP them move it.   You don't hire full-service moving companies and then expect to be doing any of the back work....especially when you are 7 months pregnant!   But at the end of the day we have the things, and the unpacking is almost complete.

A surprising twist to this story is my emotions. Initially receiving the items was difficult as so much of it was my dad's stuff and some stuff still retained the familiar smells of his life.  But actually, I'm not nearly as sad as I thought I would be. Instead of reminding me that he's gone, they comfort me in his presence of my life. It makes me feel he's near. It helps me to joyfully remember what the awesome guy he was and the memories we had together.  I actually believe that in some weird way, it's brought a lot of healing to me.   Obviously it doesn't take all the pain away, but it helps me to face it..and to feel it.  With the memories of him tucked away in a storage unit, I was able to escape the feelings of him being gone.

I have to give credit to Doug, because he went into this whole situation with the mind set that these are not just things that we are paying to move here, they are a part of me. When he shared that with me, it made me love him even more.

Cheers to moving forward in life.

I'm already 24 weeks, but my sudden need to organize things has people suggesting i'm nesting early! Sorry folks! I hate to dissapoint, but I don't think nesting is to blame.

Instead I'll say that it's come to my attention (rather rapidly!) that soon I will have two babies schedules along with my daily routines. Without order there will be immense chaos! I don't want to worry about "X" getting done and where I'll find time to do it! So in a way, I'm reorganizing my whole life. I'm making this change slowly and steadily.

What kind of changes, you ask?  Well simple things like organizing paperwork for efficiently, having a weekly and daily plan for how my time is being spent, and making sure everything has a place :-) I'll add some updated pictures when I get finished with various projects!!

Hope all is well!.

Today my goal is to get Liam's room moved around and put his toys in there! We are hoping to find a baby gate probably this weekend! It will be safer for him then our living room!

Will post finished product pics!

*EDIT!*
Here are some pics :) I was able to hang up most of Olivia's things by moving Liam's changing table (which he's too heavy for) into his closet for additional storage of infant items! This allowed move play room for Liam!

Gosh, how is it that trips/vacations always go by so fast?

Liam and I made a trek to Michigan for some business and some pleasure! The time went ridiculously fast! It was really really wonderful seeing family and friends, and to get some matters taken care of that needed tending!

As with everytime i make a trip back home, i never have quite enough time to see everyone. This makes me sad. Sad that I can't see them, and even more sad that everyone couldn't see Liam!

We chose the perfect 6 days to be there, with a high of 66 our first day! The whole week temps were great for the region. It's amazing how quickly my body has adapted to warm Florida weather, but I really can't complain!  Almost comically, the very hour our flight was departing to return to Florida, a snow/ice storm began.  Glad to miss out on that!   They did have to de-ice our plane which made us miss our connecting flight in Atlanta!

Im sure most parents say they have the best babies ever, but I really do. Liam is soooo adaptable, and chill. He just goes with the flow. Never once did he give me a problem on the 4 flights we were on! People in fact commented on how they didn't even know there was a baby onboard! I love my little bear!

I plan to update with a few more pics, but here is a quick one of my cutie pie!!

I am sooo sooo happy to report we are going 2 days strong on solids with very minimal gagging and no puking!

We have struggled with getting Liam to embrace regular food! Today he had scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast and tomatoes with no problem!

GO LIAM!
